Ms. Fagerlin graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the Haas School of Business. Ms. Fagerlin received her Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1996. While attending the University of San Diego, Ms. Fagerlin was Vice-Chairman of the Moot Court Board. Ms. Fagerlin's academic achievements include receiving an American Jurisprudence Award in criminal procedure and the highest grade in a gender discrimination course and a mental health and the law course.

Prior to joining the Cardoza Law Offices, Ms. Fagerlin worked as an associate attorney for Foreman & Brasso (San Francisco and San Rafael) and the Castleman Law Firm (Pleasanton). At both firms, Ms. Fagerlin specialized in litigation. As the managing attorney for the civil litigation department at the Cardoza Law Offices, Ms. Fagerlin oversees all aspects of litigation, including client relations, trial, law and motion, and discovery.

Ms. Fagerlin practices in the areas of contract and commercial litigation, real estate and business disputes, business torts including tortious interference and fraudulent business practices, wrongful termination and employment discrimination, and personal injury.
